The strength of the mind and the ability to see the direction of ones own purpose and to persist in realizing our full potential are the central themes of this documentary film, which forces the concept of physical paralysis to bow before the power of human spirit, will, and vision. Dino Sinovcic is a Croatian national paraswimming and wheelchair basketball athlete. He was born with arthrogryposis, a condition that caused his disability. Upbringing, willpower, effort, and investment in personal development led this young man from Split to professional sports and numerous medals, despite difficult medical forecasts. It all started in a children's swimming pool, and by 2009 Dino had won a European bronze medal, continuing on his path toward gold in the 100m backstroke. He set his sights on the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, postponed to 2021, where he won a bronze medal in September. At the 2024 Paralympic Games, he carried the Croatian flag and won another medal. Stop Me If You Can is a film dedicated to the extraordinary strength of the human being. It follows the obstacles, psychological challenges, and personal dilemmas faced by Dino, his parents, and the professionals who support his mental and physical health, all in his pursuit of becoming the best version of himself - personally, physically, and athletically.
