The film was filmed in 2014 with a cast of actors who all made their debut performance in this film. It tackles issues of poverty, love, abandonment and addiction. The message of the film is universal - and this is captured through the film being filmed in New York by a South African director - it captures the universal issues that families across the world face. The film is silent, with music; and only one audible word is heard in the entire production to get the message across. I hope that this film will touch hearts and change lives wherever it is shown.
