While struggling with his own mortality, Shiva sustains himself by dealing cheap cocaine alongside his long-time foster brother, Logan Cain. Logan inserts himself into Shiva's life as the antithesis of Shiva's spiritual and virtuous values. Monopolizing his influence over the only man he calls family, Shiva is manipulated into orchestrating a hit on a rival dealer to steal $200,000. Shiva reluctantly agrees, driven by a twisted pseudo-ethical desire to help his meth-addicted sister, avoid eviction and reconcile with Christ. In addition to his older sister Tessa, Shiva also has a younger sister, Emma, whom he feels a greater sense of responsibility over.
