Two stories, one shot in black and white, the other in color, are intertwined to convey a connected narrative dealing with hardship, heartbreak, spirituality and doubt in a single day. In one story (B&W) a young man and woman wage battle of the sexes in a small cafe. The other tale (Color) follows two philosophical hobos waxing poetic on the meaning of it all, fueled by alcohol and uncompromising optimism.
