A completely bald man walks into a barber's shop his reflection in the butchers window and an irritating fringe have told him, its time for a haircut. Bastion is short film that explores the boundaries between play, imagination and sanity. Adapted from a short prose by Simon Armitage the shards of narrative played out by two actors, one with autism, dance at the boundary between imagination and reality. Images of scissors cutting close to bare skin and a playful witty language invite laughter, which echoes into dark empty spaces. Written by Anonymous See less
