The teacher announces a costumed skiing competition in which boy-girl couples will ski down the slope together and Akako sees her chance to woo Kaito. Much to Kaito's surprise, Aoko partners up with another male student from the class who also can't ski well. To his dismay, Kaito ends up partnering with Akako.
