Young people on the islands are choosing a career in the lucrative oil industry despite fishing being in their blood. If this continues, Shetland will lose a vital way of life. Young fisherman Ross, however, is not prepared to let this be the end. Ross must also contend with his father's reluctance to see his son suffer as a result of the bureaucracy inflicted on modern fishing.
