Often exchanged with battling contenders, he does not know he is an actor and we follow him between dream and reality as he figures out the confines of his situation. Referencing the absurd and the surreal, the film's beautiful and humorous scenes follow him through rituals; the mundane of every New Yorker's morning, the cabalistic ancient fire blessings, & the Sisyphean of rearranging the beds in a library.
