In 2001 at then Safeco Field the first game back from the All Star break, I had planned a very public proposal. I was told that it might not be the right time to propose by the woman I was going to propose to about two weeks ahead of our trip to Seattle. So I called and cancelled. On the Ferry trip across Puget Sound from the game, with a full moon dancing off the water. She turned to me and said, tonight would've been a good night to propose.
