Anywhere else would be better than trapped in the middle of nowhere with her divorced and uncool father who has an eye on her every move. One afternoon while her father is at work, Bobbie sneaks home to have the house to herself. It's some time before she realises that she's not alone. Her estranged mother appears suddenly out of nowhere, glamorous as ever, to collect some of her things. Bobbie tries to convince her to take her away too. So overwhelmed with excitement and longing Bobbie can't see that Mother isn't quite the person she remembers. Something is a little odd about her story. And who is the man roaming around the house?
