Flora creeping in through vacant windows is in mysterious contrast to the dry dust and gloom of the interior. Dancer Mariel Lugosch-Ecker's choreography is seemingly elicited by doppelgangers and sudden realizations, evoking six elements of the psyche in relationship to six rooms of the derelict facility - symbol for the mind. Unsullied by decay, Lugosch-Ecker's unique guttural refinement complicates themes of presence and resurrection. This laborious, eight-hour performance is cut to a lean 15 minutes by director Derrick Belcham and set to original instrumental composition by Skyler Skejelset (Fleet Foxes).
