Throughout the animation development process, these printed images depict multiple directional movements that may resemble not only personal hand gestures, but also silhouettes and patterns reminiscent of our daily landscapes. This transformation of a child's handprints into animated visual symbols aims to bring to life the personal memories associated with my daughter while growing from infant to a teenager, much in the same way that individuals left their handprints on cave walls in prehistoric times.
