The Las Vegas GP was poised to be the second-to-last race of the season and drew intense scrutiny for its smooth execution. Yet, the start of the race weekend encountered a few hitches, drawing substantial criticism toward the organizers and Liberty Media. Max Verstappen was notably vocal about the Grand Prix being more of a spectacle than a true race, a sentiment echoed by many, including fans. However, the race itself surpassed all expectations. In fact, it might have stood out as the pinnacle of the season. The track buzzed with action, ensuring there wasn't a single lackluster moment throughout the event. Although hopes were high for Charles Leclerc and Ferrari to secure his first win of the season after an impressive qualifying, a twist unfolded with a safety car deployment and strategic tire changes for both Red Bull drivers. This allowed Max Verstappen to elegantly clinch a well-deserved victory. The track's layout, often compared humorously to an upside-down pig, became a source of amusement in the paddock. However, for most drivers, it provided an exhilarating street circuit experience with ample opportunities for racing and overtaking. Notably, Ocon and Stroll delivered commendable performances, battling fiercely from the back of the grid to secure top 5 finishes. Looking ahead, the final race of the season looms in Abu Dhabi. With just 4 points separating Mercedes and Ferrari in the constructors' championship, and a mere 12 points between the top 4 drivers, anticipation surges for a thrilling, action-packed finale. There's perhaps no better way to conclude the season than witnessing multiple drivers and teams locked in a fierce battle right up to the finish line.
