Musician and radio producer Thomas Henley tells about Eddie Boyd (1914-1994) and Champion Jack Dupree (1910-1992) who moved to Finland and Sweden respectively because of love, and met a better audience and less racism on European soil. - I can say this that most African-American musicians I have met who have lived in Europe, Scandinavia, have experienced a great relief, says the American blues artist Eric Bibb, who lived in Sweden for many years. Alongside Bibb, Eddie Boyd's widow Leila Boyd, blues musician, pianist and singer Per "Slim" Notini, music producer Jonas Bernholm and artist Eva Acking, who lived with Champion Jack Dupree, also appear.
