Despite his attachment to Poland, he constantly feels suspended between two worlds. Will he be able to fulfill his dream of returning to the country of his birth? The starting point of the film is the aid expedition to Syria, which the hero organizes in 2013. On the way, he is accompanied by two teenage children, for whom this trip is an opportunity to strengthen their bonds with their father's country of origin.
