This film, written by a 14 year old, addresses such issues and challenges the audience to think outside the box. The message is one of hope, as stated in the original poem, 'You are beautiful inside and out.' Although written by young people for young people, this film speaks to so many, regardless of age, gender or race. Using film as a powerful and relevant medium has given this young filmmaker an opportunity for her voice and positive message to be heard.
