They hear the desperate calls ...See moreIt is the perfect evening: When Julien Bakker and his beautiful companion race across Lake Constance in a motorboat after visiting the lakeside terraces, they are both drunk and only have eyes for each other. They hear the desperate calls of a dinghy driver too late. Because he doesn't want his affair with his companion Flora Fitz to be exposed and because he also has alcohol in his blood, Bakker flees the scene. There is no trace of the driver of the dinghy. He doesn't tell his wife Annika about the accident. Instead, he finds a blackmail letter on his car in the morning... The case begins mysteriously for the police. A caller calls Jakob and says he saw the accident involving two boats from the moving train. Julia and Paul also find debris from a dinghy at the specified location. A little later, however, Julien Bakker's body is found on the shore. The dinghy driver Falko Dörr, however, survived badly injured. He breeds snakes and has money problems, which make him suspicious in Jakob's eyes. When Nele visits Annika Bakker to tell her the news of her husband's death, it turns out that Flora is Annika's best friend. Meanwhile, Mechthild is causing annoyance at home for Jakob.
