Steve tells him he must do the right thing, whereupon Paul throws the wedding rings in the toilet and prepares to leave with Graham. When Steve gets the blame for losing the rings Paul tries to use this as an excuse to cancel the wedding but Lee has retrieved them, once more putting him above Steve in the general estimation.
