That kind of skepticism has never affected Paula and Pehr, they are both mediums and have regular contact with the spirit world. Paula is the communicating vessel of the Egyptian god Thoth. And Pehr can speak to both living animals and dead people. The witch Eva is a priestess in the service of mother earth and has a special relationship with nature. On her walks in the forest, she can speak to stones when the spirit strikes. Eva, Pehr and Paula are all gifted with special abilities, ones that people don't usually have. Being able to contact dead people, talk to animals or invoke the powers of nature most of us associate with the supernatural. But for a few people, these things are a completely natural part of life. For several years, the trance medium Paula has had the ability to evoke a 3,500-year-old Egyptian god who speaks through her. The god Toth has told Paula that he once lived an ordinary earthly life.
