The process was always the same: Klein asks uniformed women to empty their bag. The film begins with a simple request: 'I want you to empty your bag'. After a brief hesitation, each women reveal here bag and describes its content. Those one-on-one are sometimes akin to a psychoanalytic session, sometime to a confession, and always confirm the deep evocative power of everyday life intimate objects.
