Changing their eye color, snipping away at parts of their face, becoming a new person. They walk down the street, a new face for an old friend. Will she recognize them? A brief interaction with Ellie, a friend in a past life, prompts 'what's your name again?' A question that stirs Clay. Ellie leaves Clay rejected, Clay pursues and follows her into an art class. It is there Clay meets Professor Green, whose ideals on one's voice clashes with Ellie. Clay poses as a new student to gain entry into the class. Ellie once again rejects Clay. Clay repeatedly tries new attempts at rekindling the friendship with Ellie, each time being met with failure. As Clay is met with repeated failures their mask and sanity begin to slip. The Professor and Clay have a one on one moment in which Professor Green proposes Clay try a more challenging art style for the final assignment. Clay, through no causation of their own, creates a masterpiece.
