The film documents this journey, which ends in The Hague, where they sit in on the trial of the man accused of masterminding these crimes, the war time leader of the Bosnian Serbs, Dr Radovan Karadzic. These young women explore the path to peace and reconciliation and what role it plays in the lives of survivors. They come away from this experience with a sense of personal responsibility for ensuring that the voices of survivors are widely heard, in order to do everything they can to prevent genocide happening again.
