When the happily married couple moves to their new home in Fourways, little do they know that the woman they let in to clean their home, will end up cleaning them out of love, trust and joy. At first glance, Kgomotso appears to be the ideal housekeeper, however, it doesn't take long for her true colours to shine through. She envies her employers' lifestyle and feels that she is deserving of everything that Anele has. Matthew, Anele's husband, tries every means to avoid becoming embroiled in the conflict between his wife and housekeeper, however, unbeknownst to him, the novel he is currently writing becomes a blueprint for Kgomotso's dark agenda. Anele is quick to see through Kgomotso, but Kgomotso is much smarter than Anele imagines. In a game of cat and mouse between the two women, Anele's Achille's heel is exposed by her adversary and despite her valiant effort to save her marriage, the harder Anele fights the more hopeless the situation becomes.
