Johnny has second thoughts about leaving las Vegas because he is living the high life. He finally gets convinced to leave sin city and moves across the country to a small coal mining town of Madison, WV at a family owned golf course called Riverview Country Club. Johnny dresses flashy and is a little bit out of place in southern west Virginia but has a unique way of doing things. As the new golf pro, he generates a lot of buzz as he tries to upgrade the golf course with some new changes. Johnny decides to work with the owners son, Ace to coach him until he gets his golf mojo back until he finally wins a golf tournament and makes his parents proud. The country club gets more play and starts making money and it gets saved from shutting down. The movie promotes golf in a fun and a cool way to the next generation of golfers.
