She talks to us about how finding out about her Taino and African Latina roots led her to develop her unique musical style, which we can see in her latest release,Vamo a Goza. Later, we'll visit the Cervantes Institute, where Carmen Boullosa will interview Peruvian singer Susana Baca. She will tell us about her start in music, the current state of Afro-Peruvian music on the international stage, and her book and CD, The Bitter Road of Sugar Cane: African Culture in Peru. Later on, we head to Mexico to cover the work of the Salesians, a religious group which supports Central American and Mexican migrants through various different training programs for all addressing the difficulties that migrants face when they try to cross the border. And later, we'll meet the Peruvian duo, Alejandro and María Laura. In 2011, they released Paracaídas their first album which was produced by Matías Cella.
