Billy Pommer Jr is best known as a formation member and the lifelong drummer of the legendary Australian rock act, The Johnnys. The Johnnys were pioneers in genre of cow-punk, blending the rawness of punk with a country and western twist. With some great hooks and melodies, their debut album 'Highlights Of A Dangerous Life' went top 20 nationally. Billy has also released his own solo album under the name Billy Pommer Jr and The Guilty Plea. Along with this, Billy has been invited to play sessions and live gigs with countless Australian and international bands some which include The Gun Club, Tex Perkins' Butcher Shop, Seven Ballerinas and The Cry. Now based in Melbourne, Billy is still an active member of the Australian music scene.
