She attempts an audition piece, but it isn't working. A Hooded Figure appears in the auditorium and challenges her to tell an authentic story. Lucia refuses, but the Hooded Figure convinces her. Lucia remembers how she rescued her little brother from drowning when they were children in Italy, only to see him murdered by a German soldier. She then retrieved her father's gun and came back to shoot the soldier. She and her younger self seemingly emanate power... But the Hooded Figure reappears, attacking Lucia. She eventually gives in, and tells the true end to her story. She didn't murder the soldier, instead she hid, terrified, until he left. Now, she uses the gun to chase the soldier away, says goodbye to her little brother, and lets go of her younger self. Written by
