Inside, Teodora feels that ...See more12-year-old Teodora is looking forward to Mardi Gras and has spent ages preparing her fairy costume. She hangs out on a daily basis with her excessively border-seeking friends, who can only grow up too quickly. Inside, Teodora feels that things are going way too fast. When the friends are invited to a "real" birthday party instead of this year's cozy Mardi Gras celebration at school, Teodora decides to secretly bypass the friends. She runs away from the birthday party in hopes of becoming this year's cat queen, but when the group of friends discover she's gone, they inconveniently break in. Here they humiliate Teodora and are unforgivable that she has failed them. Teodora must therefore stand up for herself in order to remain in the world of childhood a little longer. See less
