Harold, a distraught father (Jesse Kamien) is tasked with simply picking up his son, Greg (Russell Doucet) from school; but the fact that he only has a few days with his son, that his impending divorce is getting ugly and that he hasn't been sleeping well complicate things. Greg, on the other hand, can mostly just wait for his Dad to show up, late, and sit in the car in silence. As they drive home through rural New Hampshire, a strange, prophetic talk show host vents anger and frustration from the radio, creating the biggest, possibly most fatal, wedge between the two of them.
