Months pass before Elle seeks the help of a family friend, Dr. James Worther. Dr. Worther suggests that Elle revamp her life by volunteering her time to others, re-engaging herself and begin a new chapter in her life. Not sure what to think about the children at the hospital, she meets a confident young boy, Caleb Lee who sticks out to her over the rest. She sees herself in him and they share a like hobby, playing the piano. As time passes, Caleb and Elle form a strong bond, but Caleb's health begins to deteriorate with each passing day, until that fateful day comes unexpectedly.
