What was his own childhood like? For the first time in a long time, Armin Maiwald is revisiting the Bavarian village of Uffing. He spent six years there, from 1945 to 1951, together with his mother and sister. How has the small community on Lake Staffelsee changed? And will Armin even manage to meet some familiar faces from back then? The visit to his Bavarian "exile" brings back many memories for Armin-not all of them pleasant.
