While Germany's future has been decided in free elections, Russia has been increasingly controlled by a single man. A man who controls the gas that Germany is so dependent on. What role does Germany play for the financing of the Russian war apparatus? And what does Germany's bloody 20th century history mean today? Participants include Melinda Crane, a political commentator on the German TV channel Deutsche Welle and Christoph Heusgen, who for 12 years was Angela Merkel's foreign political adviser.
