I created an inner world of a boy whose favorite thing is hide in a wardrobe or use it for fishing. I also recreated the scene from Polanski's short that included a boy making sand castles on the beach. Instead the seaside I used an urban back garden where a boy sits on a sun that is painted with a chalk. However he is still happy in his own imaginary world. I used Polanski's short to recreate rather surrealist, slightly disconnected plot, that still sustains an emotional level of involvement. Written by Anonymous See less
