He observes Nick standing on the surface of his heart and realizes that all his efforts are actually a fight against a terrible problem: There is a small hole in his heart that keeps growing and gradually turning into a large crater. And everything he attempts to plug that hole seems to make the problem worse - until a very special day. See less
