Beginning of the journey somewhere in a town of Provence: Ismaël is playing petanque with André Horard and then they visit the olive trees plantation of André.After that Ismaël travels to Antibes where he meets the rose grower Matthias ...See moreBeginning of the journey somewhere in a town of Provence: Ismaël is playing petanque with André Horard and then they visit the olive trees plantation of André.After that Ismaël travels to Antibes where he meets the rose grower Matthias Meilland: they visit a typical market and then go to the rose garden of Matthias who shows him the "Monica Belucci" rose, one of his creations.Later they go to the the seaside at Antibes and visit the "Villa Eilenroc", a mansion which has been donated to the town of Antibes and is now open to the public, there is also a rose garden with roses donated by Matthias.Later they pay a visit to the rose grower Fabrice Bianchi, the jasmine and cabbage rose producer for the famous "Chanel 5 " perfume and see the harvest and the distillation of the rose flowers.After that Ismaël is with Maxime Raux, a guide, at the "Point Sublime" of the Verdon Gorge: they go down the gorge and swim in the river (rando aquatique).On the next day Ismaël meets in Lourmarin Nadia Sammut- the unique French chef specialized in gluten free cuisine and also one Michelin star, she uses above all local products-.They walk through the hills and drink a rosemary tea.Later they pay a visit to Jean-Pierre Jugnier, a truck farmer who produces flowers and shows them a variety of broccoli, Nadia picks some marigolds and nasturtium flowers and later prepares for Ismaël a delicious gluten free meal.After that Ismaël travels with Delphie Thierry, a perfumer, they stop in a forest to smell some wild flowers and arrive at the laboratory of Delphine at Saint-Césaire-sur-Siagne: Ismaël prepares his own perfume with lentisk and thyme essential oils.Finally Ismaël arrives at the "Institut Saint Paul de Mausole" where he harvests some peony with Marie, then talks with the psychiatrist Jean-Marc Boulon about the art therapy in this place and helps the women patients to make a painting of flowers. Besides we see zooms about the flower parade of the Lavandou , about the production of peonies, about the flower market of Hyères with its daily auction, about the observance of the birds in the Verdon Gorge (the griffon vulture's nest), about the village of Correns and its organic farming, about the green walls promoted by Hélène Daumas in the Hotel Byblos in Saint-Tropez,about the young Elsa Metaire and her learning in a plant nursery about the agricultural school of the Alpilles with its olive trees plantation.
