The documentary uses unique archival materials - film, iconography, music recordings. The film recalls the beginnings of catacomb jazz in the first half of the 1950s. The documentary also introduces two legendary musical groups: Hot Club Melomani and the Komeda Sextet. It also recalls the artistic atmosphere of the post-1956 thaw era, when student clubs and theaters flourished and a fascination with jazz took hold. See less
