He launched the Paris ring road, new towns, the sunshine freeway, the RER (regional express train), the consolidation of the countryside, the tourist development of the Languedoc coastline, Rungis and the Maison de la Culture. Behind these great achievements during the "Trente Glorieuses", this film tells the story of this generation that had to rebuild a country devastated by war and invent a new France.
