The flying lemurs and long-tailed tropical opossums show their adaptation to a life in the trees. Two types are shown, the active and marvelously adept, and the slow but sure creature that depends upon the use of a prehensile tail. The surprising thing about them is the fact that in flight they form a perfect square, similar to the "heavier than air machine of the human inventor, but with the length of the planes reversed in the direction of travel.
