Today, her son Kameron, an innocent victim of fetal alcohol syndrome, stands as the embodiment of that horrible lie. Since Kameron is unable to speak for himself, his adoptive mom graphically discloses what it's like to walk in Kameron's shoes. His biological mother, who is now working in a program of progress through AA, also shares her pain and her guilt.
