Exactly as in the book, the story is told as a daily diary of the testimony of a massacre in progress. Vittorio Arrigoni is a volunteer of the ISM (International Solidarity Movement), his task during Operation "Cast Lead'' is to help the volunteers of the Red Crescent on the ambulances to assist the people of Gaza, victims of a massive bombing, inhuman and unprecedented during which they are destroyed hospitals, schools, mosques and homes, also using white phosphorus on civilians, weapon prohibited by any international law.
