When Staller, accompanied by his young colleague Riedl, tries to calm things down, the blissful "Omm" is interrupted by a piercing scream: personality coach Engelbert Gerber has collapsed and died. But that's not all the surprises. Staller's superior, Girwidz, who was supposed to be attending a police training course, is also among the seminar participants. It quickly becomes clear that Gerber had a serious heart condition and died because he didn't take his vital medication. This, however, seems inexplicable to all the course participants. Did someone perhaps slip him a placebo? Now anyone from the coaching center could be the murderer, which is why one of the police officers has to be infiltrated undercover. But since Staller, Riedl, and Girwidz are already known there, only Hubert comes into question, although he abhors such group events. Under the alias "Alois Trenker," he stumbles straight into a family constellation. He soon learns that the deceased was heavily in debt and, on top of that, had impregnated a seminar participant. But that hasn't stopped him from showing his affection to other women during his training. Now there are almost as many motives as participants, but only one murderer-or two? Thanks to state-of-the-art surveillance technology and Hubert's reluctant but very convincing performance as a coaching participant, they finally manage to catch the perpetrator red-handed.
