The bizarre world that lies across the bridge remains a mystery to them, they can only hope that it is much more magical than the gloomy world that they are desperately trying to leave - But not just anybody can cross the 'Everlasting Bridge' - Each soul must pay the toll of one penny. This penny is magical, and each person can only ever own one in their entire life - this penny buys entry into a much brighter world, a world they can only dream of... However, when all is going according to plan, in a disastrous moment, one half of this couple loses their magical penny. Only one soul can now cross over to the other world - and one will fall into the pit of everlasting shadows forever.
