A gloomy street corner, a meeting of two mafiosi, music from a 1970s gangster film - not exactly the setting you would expect for a glittering cosmetic product advertisement. Nevertheless, a new diploma film from the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy brings the two worlds together - and thus provides the creative template for a possible new Perlweiss campaign. The Film titled Something To Hide (1976) was done by Filmacademy advertising agency for Perlweiss in Germany. It was released in Aug 2015. It was one of the rare productions to have started as a Spec Commercial and then be bought and aired on broadcast TV.
