The two find him dead on his yacht. Heart failure. But the laboratory discovers that the whitefish that the businessman had eaten shortly before had been poisoned with ecstasy. That's why Paul quickly suspects Frömmke's fun-loving young wife Sabrina, who gets out of a friend's car in high spirits when the detectives bring her the news of her husband's death. However, the fisherwoman Clauda Schaub would also have reason enough to be happy about Frömmke's death. The businessman had bullied her several times and pressured her to give him her fishing license. Jakob is the first to realize that Frömmke had shady dealings with the Bulgarian fishmonger Bulat Umarov. He delivered Kazakh whitefish to Lake Constance in large trucks, where they were put in a tank and reclassified as Lake Constance whitefish - simply because Lake Constance no longer produces enough fish to meet demand. Umarov puts pressure on Sabrina Frömmke to sell her husband's business to him, while Sabrina's lover Steffen Kamp wants to take her to a nice hotel in Switzerland. Then Sabrina finds the office devastated and Julia receives interesting information from the Bulgarian police. Only Nele's presence of mind prevents another murder. At her home, another drama is taking place: Mechthild has received a goldfish from a friend to look after, which Niklas wants to look after. But the fish soon stops moving.
