When the engine of their boat breaks down, Tamara Sedlak and her friend Antonio Krusewitz hijack the boat of Frederik Schick and his brother-in-law Oliver Danner. Because Frederik resists, a shot goes off from Antonio's gun. Oliver is fatally wounded. Frederik can hardly look his sister Lea Louise Danner in the eye when he tells her the sad news at a playground. In order to at least be able to help her financially, he makes a fatal decision that also brings the robbers back into the picture. They had to leave the gold, worth 300,000 euros, at the bottom of Lake Constance. While Nele and Paul quickly find their way to the shipyard where the escape boat was stolen and Antonio works, they have no idea what disaster is brewing for Lea Louise.
