Jo Stoll questions and flirts with Simon's foxy buddy Deborah Gerling, who found her and calls her unhealthily ambitious. Henriette Simon recently broke off her engagement with professor Hans Dorfmann, Wolter's colleague, after his surprise recovery from a grave illness, unmasking the gold-digger, but he maintains to have chosen even a short time with her.
