Narrated by Ashley Judd, the films takes you on a journey to meet a family of bonobos in captivity and you will learn of their ancestors back in the wild forests of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Bonobos are known as the 'forgotten ape' and they have formed a system of cooperation that no other ape species has done. Their lives teach us about our origins.
