The story takes the audience back and forth showing glimpses of their struggles together. All while coming back to what is happening in real time between the two main characters; Aiden and Olivia; and how they are dealing with it all. The spark in the relationship has faded, leaving Aiden and Olivia with a difficult decision of walking away from it all or coming back to that person they know will always be there. Glimpse touches upon the universal idea of love, and conveys a message with instills in us that it is ok to let go and move on, no matter what the final decision may be.
