When, due to a mob play, the relentless Tiger Valdez fails to win the deserved Colombian champion title, his promising boxing career is thus cut short. His life takes a 180º turn... a turn he never would have imagined and that will transform him definitively... Motivated by the need to support his mother and his four sisters, he decides to work as a physical trainer at the gym of Regina Álvarez Castillo, a wealthy woman, wife of presidential candidate Julio César Álvarez Castillo, and mother of the beautiful Trinidad. Trinidad, a top model who is ending her reign as Miss Colombia, has always represented a kind of obsession for Salvador... An ideal woman whose advertising image appears to him in dreams and in everyday life, exerting a mysterious influence over him that makes him vulnerable to all sorts of clumsiness and crazy accidents... The unthinkable encounter with the real Trinidad doesn't turn out to be as ideal as in his dreams. Trinidad doesn't acknowledge him; he belongs to a world very different from hers. To her, he is little more than a piece of furniture in her mother's gym... She can't even remember his name and calls him a thousand different things that only manage to offend him in silence... What neither she nor he knows yet is that their destinies will inevitably cross... And Salvador's hardened heart will get its little great revenge... To save his family's home, which is about to be foreclosed on, Salvador will enter a secret and exciting world with Regina... She will turn him into the best of her employees, but not for the gym staff, but for her clandestine business... The sex business. She will make him an exceptional lover... she will turn him into a man of the world, cultured, exquisite, capable of melting a woman with just a look from his eyes... And in the meantime, Regina, almost without realizing it, will begin to see this creature she herself designed in a different way... This classy man, who ends up knowing about piano, poetry, fine wines, and delicious caresses and who now makes her fall in love like no one has before... That dazzling man for whom Trinidad will also now die of love, without even imagining that he learned all his art between her own mother's sheets... Regina's sophisticated clients go crazy for him, and Salvador will end up entangled in extravagant adventures to satisfy them and evade their dangerous husbands on the prowl... However, this new Salvador, coveted by the richest and most famous women of Colombia, only has a heart for one of them... But for which one? For the daughter or for the mother? For the one who transformed his life or for the one who knows nothing about him? For the one who saw a rough diamond in him or for the one who simply saw a brute? He who is born passionate, dies passionate. And Salvador, who knew how to leave his soul and life in the boxing ring, will do so now with that same ferocity in the ring of love. Living in a lustful world, plagued by vices, and practicing the oldest profession in the world. Cinema has given us similar films with considerable success, American Gigolo catapulted Richard Gere to fame playing a lover of older women or in Midnight Cowboy, with a much sadder and more complex story in which a very young Jon Voight also left us an unmatched character. Let's see how this story fares in telenovelas. In its female version we have several examples like Doña Beija or The Force of Desire, stories that are quite understandable for the time they were made and the good handling of some aspects such as the dignity of women or making a name for oneself in a world run by men. Perhaps the twist is found in Everyone Wants Marilyn, which knew how to present the story sweetly and with all its social criticism. Now it remains to be seen what comes of all this; while Marcela Citterio's stories have good commercial repercussion, they have more of a classic soap opera approach. We'll also have to see what casting Venevision will do for Salvador, the character's profile is not easy, we'll have to be on the lookout for which actors are free and not doing another telenovela, but there is some actor from the production company who could fit the profile, Luciano D'Alessandro comes to mind as an example.
