Emem decides to take him to stay with her Widower Father; Dr. Udoh who had retired and has been living in his country home since the death pf his wife. Bassey who has always searched for a place to belong finds it in his Grandfather's home. They form a bond which transcends that of relatives and he has to help his Grandfather who has a love trouble of his own; He is smitten by a nurse he meets on one of his walks but he has never been with another woman aside his late wife who he had been married to for over 53 years. Emem is still dealing with her crumbling marriage and is tempted when a wild painter she interviews for her magazine falls in love with her. Bassey also somehow gets entangled with an emotionally unavailable girl and all three are trying to overcome their loneliness. See less
